Download Pictures From Facebook in Chrome and Firefox

I haven't posted anything in a while and I found this to be very helpful.

How to download pictures from someone's photos on Facebook.

Step #1:
Find a photo you wish to download. It should be someone else's, seeing that you can redownload your own photo's. I chose a beautiful picture here of my friend Kylee.

Step #2:
If you are using Internet Explorer all you have to to is right-click on the image and "Save Picture As", but for us cool people who use Firefox or Chrome, that option is not available anymore with the new theater viewer. So like I said, you'll want to right-click on the image. Choose "View Page Source" or "Ctrl+u" on your keyboard. (This is helpful on many websites that don't allow you to right-click.

Step #3:

Ok so you're looking at a bunch of junk code either in a new window or new tab. Hit "Ctrl+f" on your keyboard. This will open a finder bar on the bottom for Firefox of a little drop down in Chrome. Type in "myphoto" with the quotes into the search. In both Firefox and Chrome, there will be a link before it that looks like this:

(This link is purposefully broken)

Step #4:
Click on the link in quotes (make sure it says "sphotos" in the link or you are on the wrong one) or if you wish, open a new tab and and paste the link/url into the browser address bar.

Step #5:
Right-click and "Save image as" or hit "Ctrl+s" to save the image you wanted, and that's it folks.

It's a bit tricky, but it should help you when looking at galleries of great photographers or if you want a copy of a picture that a friend took of you.

Happy Downloading.

PS. Alternately you could just use a screen shot software such as MWSnap or Jing. But I don't like grabbing the black around it and having to crop it later in photoshop.
